What exactly are you stuck at? Through this site it is impossible to stay "stuck in a rut". Just pick one particular thing you want to improve at and run with it. It may take days to see results, it my take weeks. The main point is not to get discouraged, practice the new technique only as much as you feel comfortable. This doesn't mean 5 mins. but try to stick to at least 25% of your practice time towards that technique. Also don't overload yourself only do one new technique at a time, also just have some fun, jam, improvise, look at style lessons. This helped me advance and get out of my rut and should help you.

Welcome m8! I think it will help you if you jsut follow the flow of GMC! It's nicely constructed and these lessons make it more fun to learn so you won't get sick of what you are playing as there are always other lessons to go to if you are sick of one of them! smile.gif
