Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Hi Renan! Nice video! You learnt both guitars very well and played every note well. However you still have to practice this one to play it tighter. I can note timing issues in many sections, not very serious but they are there. The first riff (from 00:10 to 00:40) has some chords that are not 100% tight, work on the groove of this section. In the following part, starting at 00:40, I note that you are not comfortable enough with the left hand position changes. The power chords that are played at 00:55 can sound tighter with the backing.

To summarize, keep on practicing and concentrate on timing!

Hey man! Gabe has spotted the places where you have to improve so I won't comment on those as well, but what I'd like you to emphasize on, would be:

- transitions - when shifting between positions you tend to become less tight and thus, the timing issues that Gabe was pointing out, are appearing.

- tuning - it seems that you should focus a bit on checking out the tuning of the guitar before recording - it sounds a bit off.

Having these things in mind, let's see an improved take!

Pretty nice job my friend! smile.gif I've got one suggestion. Vintage Rock playing was a really killer for the strings. At the beginnig amps distortions were very poor and people had to hit really hard to get nice and juicy tone. Try to get a beast out of yourself smile.gif
