You did a very good job but it sounded like you guitar was out of tune?
The notes were played right and everything technically was great! Except of tuning!
It will be 8 from me because of it!

Technically, you did a great job and your tone is also very good take a little time to tune up before recording and the 10 can be yours

Yo ! Nice take.

Things that could make it even better would be:

- Try to capture more of David's 'staccato' type phrasing, where notes are chopped short and you use your right hand to mute things. It makes things have more impact. Also, releasing your finger from the note after playing it helps to make phrases sound more 'staccato' too.

- Watch out for the tuning issues

- The delay effect was a bit overkill but that's just taste and it easily remedied
