Hey Ivan -- I'm wondering if you have come across any exercises to practice diatonic scales and arpeggios, beyond the typical three, four, five note pattern/sequence exercises that, for me at least, get tiresome over time. Something like a musical etude that is interesting to play as I do this essential learning. Thanks. Tim

I know I am not Ivan, but if you are at the point where you can get tired practicing these ,I encourage you to think about finding sequences on your own such as,try using the same notes and puting them into, 2 note per string exercises,or sequencing them 3 notes up - 1 note back -3 notes up-etc.,and reverse this .

this might be to fast but look at the tab to see what I mean

Thanks. NIce link. Some of the full speed stuff looks like friggin' trick photography, but the slowed down version is helpful.

Sorry for delay:

There are couple of lessons I can recommend:

https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/ls/Classi...Arpeggio_Focus/

https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/ls/arpegg...bb-major-scale/

https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/solo-guit...jor-easy-etude/

https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/solo-guit...dic-solo-in-gm/

You can always make variations for your practice routines. For example, instead of going up&down on the scale, you can always skip some notes, go in groups, like 3 notes, and then return to 2nd one etc..

I advise that you rehearse these over backings with chords being played. Check out my Arpeggio Workshop Series to find such backings! smile.gif
