Hi guys,
is it possible to rewrite a wiki to get a grade? I saw there was a request for harmonics explanation, so I wanted to do that. Someone has already made a tiny article about it, but I didn't think it got a grade.
grtz, kaz
this is the article: http://www.guitarmasterclass.net/wiki/index.php/Harmonics
I think thats fine in pricnciple, since the whole point of the Wiki is collaboration and improvements
But the following would apply:
1. Make sure you call outthe fact that you are improving an existing article (just as you did!)
2. The mark you will get will be treated as a regrade - e.g. you will only get points for the improvement not the whole article. We can use Wiki facilities to see excatly what you have changed and how much you have added so that part is all above board and easy to see.
At the moment, I would give the harmonics article a 2.
Ok, I added this to the competition rules - make sure you read the guidelines there about naming the entry thread!
ah that (word containing a*)... it had planned to make it a big article and get a 5+, but because someone already put a half article there I can't get a 5+... Well to bad, but I'm not gonna make a big 5+ worty article and then get 3 points because it was a regrade. Well to bad
EDIT: sorry for my language, edited it!
Question, and please answer when any of the mods see this so I can work on the wiki.
Is it possible to regrade to a 5+? I want to get the 5+ rate and this article can work prety well. I also saw a request for this article so it's written on request, does this effect the rating?s
If its exceptional we'll give it a 5+ then subtract 2 points from what you would have got at the end, ok?
