Awesome! I LOVE sunburst with a pearloid pickguard on a strat...no guitar looks better than that in my opinion!

Beautiful, guitar, Buzz! Thanks for posting that. I, and many others, would like a detailed description of your build, if you don't mind posting it. If you have already, please forgive. I didn't search before I saw your photos!

hi guys, i,m glad you like it & thanks for the nice comments, this is for you NO SKILL, the body i bought off of e-bay i think the company name is IRON HORSE, the neck i ordered from Warmoth, because i did not want the fret dots they had to make the neck for me and it took 2 months but if i bought one of theirs off the shelf it would have taken maybe 3 weeks? it has a compound radius 10 deg. at the nut & flattens out to 16 deg. at the 22 fret, a black tusq xl nut, the tuners are gotoh 510 mini locking and have a ratio of 18 to 1, the pickguard is a aztec gold pearloid and the pickups are a seymour duncan JB jr in the neck and the bridge and a duckbucker in the middle with a 5 way switch, all the gold hardware came from Stewart Macdonald and Guitar parts resource, and the Fender stratocaster decal i applied myself, i got that off of kijjiji, as soon as my bridge comes in i,ll get it together and post another REC lesson or a sound clip, thanks everyone for your interest! biggrin.gif

Rated htr....yes this is my first totally from scratch build, i built a few before but not to this extent, the total guitar cost me around $1650 canadian dollars.
