Well the only time I'm on stage nowadays is doing sound and I usually wear an old pair of purple Doc Martins like this http://store.drmartens.co.uk/p-6606-dr-mar...-1460-boot.aspx.

Which is why I started to wear them many years ago Ben .Back then though it was either black or oxblood red, steel toecaps and with 14-18 eyelets for the laces. Maybe I am thinking too much like a man, lol, but I believe I would wear tennis shoes to allow moving around a lot easier. High heels could cause a fall.
