First Layer

I'm starting a new reaper project and just wrote this for my primary backing track. I think I might add some sort of blues lead to it, maybe some kind of percussion, not quite sure yet. Any ideas or comments? I'm thick skinned so be honest, if it's no good I like to know.

My acoustic mixed with my clarinet. It's rough but it is my first time mixing tracks together. Plus the clarinet was improvised so its not spot on.

Fingerpicking Jumble

This is just a mix of a lot of fingerpicking stuff I'm working on mixed together with some improv. It's all in the same key but isn't all the same style so it might sound kind of funny. Basically, I'm bored.

I'd love to add some recordings but I'm without gear and am having trouble sifting through the millions of options. So until I make a decision here is a midi file of a metal song I'm writing. It's not complete, and doesn't feel as fluent as I'd like, but I think it's a good base (At least it's real fun to play). Suggestions, criticism, insults, etc are all welcome.
