Pbr is "PreBand-release".
If you take a look at the bottom of main tab (at least in my lessons) you can see explanation of each abbreviation.

I dont understand all of them either when looking at a tabb, this info could be in a faq or something for us newcomers. I know Gabriel had all those in one of his lesson but cant remeber where

Yeah, I just saw it yesterday, it's here (below the tab of his Major Pentatonic Intermediate Solo lesson):

What is a Pre bend? You either are or arent bending, and if not, wouldnt it just be considered a note? If you are, than wouldnt it just be a bend?

well you are bending it. But what you do. Is not pick then bend. You bend then pick!! Pre-bend

It's useful for the pbr thing. You could I guess just go to the note you're bending to and then slide down to the desired note, but it gets a different and sometimes desireable sound when you pre bend it, then release it. It's about the only way you can bend DOWN a note.
