pretty cool, only guitar, the rest is stripped.

My guess,there probably using something similar to the technology Vox uses with the Jamvox, only reverse order.

It sounds like someone got hold of the original masters. You can hear some of those mixed without the guitar track for games like guitarhero and rockband. I assume with rockband they also have to have the tracks without guitar.
Perhaps a less than honorable employee decided to make copies? -------------------- ::jafomatic

Perhaps someone managed to rip the guitar tracks from the play disc?
