Quite a piece of art...a little too "busy" for my taste, but great craftsmanship!

One of their guitars sold recently local to me for almost £4000!!! ohmy.gif

I like the paintjob, very busy, very cool. smile.gif

Posted by: Sollesnes Sep 24 2009, 08:04 PM

Very cool. Reminds me of ESPs SUGIZO signature model. smile.gif

INteresting...
Although it doesn't quite fit my taste...

that finish was so ugly/sexy/weird/insane I`d bought it instantly! blink.gif

Looks well made not really my taste though.

Nice painting. But I think it is just too much.

Posted by: Sensible Jones Sep 25 2009, 10:37 AM

I think I should just point out that it's not actually 'painted' but inlaid with strips of Abalone!

If you contact ESP they'll probably sort it out for you. Considering it costs 1 000 000 yen before taxes, shipping etc. tongue.gif

It's definitely great paint job, although I prefer something a bit more simpler.

Posted by: Pedja Simovic Sep 26 2009, 10:54 PM

Its a little bit too much for me but it is definitely interesting work smile.gif

Phuh , overcolored for my taste, but very interesting indeed .

They can make a quiz with this guitar - which color is missing ! smile.gif

hmm these custom paint jobs look really amazing and detailed but I think I would get tired of looking at it very fast and would always choose classic finish instead smile.gif

Posted by: Marcus Siepen Sep 27 2009, 07:58 PM

Very well done, but also not really my cup of tea

I agree, a finish like this will be very funky...for about a month or so.

Gimme a flame maple or natural tree - look (like my own guitars rolleyes.gif ) or a sunburst nuance any day smile.gif

Looks like an oyster. Hope it doesn't have the smell.

It is inlaid with strips of Abalone Shell. It's not painted at all.
