Hey whats up everyone, my name is pat I just signed up here. Ive been playing guitar for the past 5 years now, just started getting into metal, I mostly to play originals myself, but does anybody have any songs you think every metal player should know. anyways hello everyone.

From metal, you can start form early classics like Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest songs, and go from there. Also it may be a good idea to cover the Metallica early stuff as well.

Cheers guys, thanks for the feed back, Im actually a big metallica fan, seen them twice, and lamb of god warmed up for them in Vancouver on there current tour. Im familiar with a few songs you mentioned there, so its good to know im on the right track.
