My Pod X3 Live Broken?:(, Master volume stopped working...

Dunno, why I am always the unlucky one.. first my christmas gift iPod Touch and now my pod x3 live...

Yesterday I wanted to connect my pod with PC using USB and gearbox - something I do quite often. But it still wrote some error, that it cannot load the patches.

This morning, I tried it again. The patches loaded ok, but Master volume knob stopped working and is stuck on 100%... is there a way to restore factory settings or something? The hardware of the knob is all right - I mean the resistance of the knob, when turning it is the same as with all other knobs, so I guess its just software thing.. anybody knows?


Btw. I buyed it in UK on holyday and now I am back home in Czech republic, so sending it back would be quite costy and timeconsuming.. sad.gif

Thanks paal, but I already tried that and it just reset the presets:( Btw. do you think that opening the case will void the warranty? I want to try to take a look at the knob...

My Pod X3 had to go to sweden to get repaired. It was more than 1 month agony sad.gif
I hope you have better lucky and get it sorted out locally without violating the warranty.

I am a bit sceptical towards sending it back - last time I sent iPod Touch on repair and our postal service has lost the package along the way (yes, I said a lot of bad words that day:D ) and I got 10% of the buying price as compensation from Czech Post... But Ivans idea seems kinda appealing.. I'll take a look.. keep fingers crossed pls smile.gif
