Advice On Amps Needed

A little update:

The local shop still haven't gotten any of the amps I wanted to try. I've decided not to go for the Artisan 100H, even though it's great etc. its 100W is way over my head and the amp is just not versatile enough. I don't like using distortion pedal either.
I could go for the Artisan 30W combo, but I won't be getting it for a reasonable price.

Anyway, I've taken a chance. Ordered the Blackstar Series One 45 combo from Thomann.de. I got a very nice discount on it, so the price seemed really fair.
And what is life without a little bit of GAS?

Hopefully the order will go though soon and hopefully I will love it. happy.gif

Got my fingers crossed!

You're right, had forgotten about that one smile.gif

It probably won't sound as good as micing the speakers, but I'll see to it. First I need the amp though!

Arrived today!

Haven't yet had the time to test thoroughly, but the 4,5W setting sounds great so far. Also I'm pretty convinced I can get all the sounds I need from this one.

I won't have time to do a review right away due to a busy school-week, maybe in the weekend.

But I'll let you know wink.gif

A small review is now up: https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/wiki/inde...r_Series_One_45

I'm sorry, but I don't have time to record sound samples. School is too busy.

But check out Jamie Humphries testing the series: http://www.blackstaramps.co.uk/products/se...ne/s1video.html

He covers it decently.
