anyone know how to record drums or singing with a line 6 product that goes directly from the instrument into computer becuase i only know how to record them and i wont to record my bands songs

I don't have Line 6 stuff,but if your unit has just one or two inputs,it'll be impossible to record drums,
I mean whole set or som.
Try to connect a mic into input jack and to record whole band together,might sound interesting.
Or one by one...

what kind of microphone whould work with a line 6 product that can plug into the part where you plug in the guitar?

Try Shure SM58 or SM57,they are most common I guess,and not much expensive tho...
