Hi, I don't know if this will help you any but...
http://ultimate-guitar.com/search.php?s=Dimples&w=songs Maybe it has something you are looking for. I am shocked at the little selection that www.ultimate-guitar.com has for this song... it usually has everything tab related for a song(bass, guitar, chords, etc..) Hope this helps though. If not, sorry I couldn't be of more assistance! |

Its this particular version i'm interested in because it just sounds a really great version of his original. The guy from Los Lobos is chucking down some really quick rhythm (for the song) with a few trills and it has just grabbed me and i need to know what it is!!! |

You could get "the amazing slow downer", a program that slows music down without affecting the pitch. That way it would be easier to follow. I don't have it myself but ran a demo (that was limited to only work for the first part of a mp3 file) and the sound quality was fantastic. -------------------- My bands homepage

Hi Blurred,
Transcribe is, as DeepRoots says, particularly good at slowing down/half speeding recordings. It's great for learning actual licks as it lets you slow and repeat stuff as many times as you want BUT when it slows it down it doesn't change the pitch. To avoid all the garbage on the web it's available from here... It's shareware so will cost about 25 UK Sterling for a license but you can evaluate a copy for I think 2 weeks. If it isn't tabbed Blurred then chances are you will have to try to transcribe it yourself. (And to be honest even if it's tabbed a lot of tabs are not that accurate ).
If the recording is copy protected then there is a cd riff tracker by (I think) Tascam that will still slow down a cd to half speed without your having to try to rip to an mp3/wave so it doesn't encroach on copyrite/DRM. From there it's the tried and trusted method of transcribing by ear I'm afraid. The upside of this though is that you really do get to learn the track inside and out . Cheers, Tony also there are a few custom transcription services on the web who might be able to do it for you but I can't vouch for their quality. -------------------- Get your music professionally mastered by anl AES registered Mastering Engineer.
