Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Very interesting, smooth sounding tone, and interesting playing. Somehow your playing sounds experienced and non-experienced at the same time. You play some parts with good attention to details, and some with very little. What I suggest is that you spend some time working on timing for this one. Some parts are dead on, very nicely laid back, and some are way off. Also, bends need more improving, need to make them stronger at some spots. These are the main things you should work on. But it's very interesting take.

You have to work on timing. Really interesting, some parts you play as a Pro, and some parts ... cool.gif . Lack of concentration ?

Hi, this is a really good lesson to tackle - good choice.

As the guys said, you play some parts really well but then others suffer with timing. When you play this solo, try to play that double note lick at 0:13 with a hammer-on, like Stephane does.

The main issue was timing. Technically, you can play this solo but I think you just got lost with the timing half way through. If you work on this aspect you'll make the most improvement in the shortest space of time.

You have a very relaxed style and a good tone, which are 2 very important aspects to have on your side smile.gif

Aside from the aspects pointed out by the guys, I really think that if you put in some more focus on what you are playing and let yourself into the piece itself, you can come up with a MUCH better take smile.gif
