Also, try to accentuate the first note of each sweep shape, you'll than get the feeling of BEAT in your sweeping. Mastering sweeps requires loads of hours of practicing so don't expect to get it down in 2 months! It's much more than that! You're doing fine, keep practicing! May 23 2007, 08:51 PM	GMC:er Posts: 1.286 Joined: 14-March 07 From: Hutchinson, Kansas, USA	wel lim glad, and im trying out different ways to mute better , andyes i know tons of practice on them i put lots of time in the everyday because its my favorite , and ill try to accent the first note more..hm how exactly do i do that..do i pick it harder?, or what? and i think that might be my problem, not feeling the beat with them..hmm, adn that might be my problem with 5 string sweeeps..and also..when you have like 2 notes the same whe sweeping..lik esay 14, then above that its 14...how exactly is that done.i know roll yoru finger..but well..i try and roll it...and it sounds really unlcean...do i need to mute more on those specific 1s..and when i have my finger on there..i try to have it tilted to the side more...or should i jsut have my finger...just like lay on it..without tilting??
