So im making a solo to the song Viking Kong by paul gilbert and i have made this lick:

E:--------------------------------------------------------
B:--------------------------------------------------------
G:-------13-14-16---------------13-14-15-------------
D:--------------------12-14-15-------------------------- It just runs over and over
A:---------------------------------------------12-14-15-
E:---------------------------------------------------------
Using the E dominant phrygian scale.

How do i make this lick more gilbertish?

I cant play it at full speed yet, but i bet some of you can.. how does it sound? is it a gilbert sounding lick? Could you possibly do a LITTLE rec if you can play it?
This is the first lick i have made...
Thank you smile.gif

Cool lick, I just tried it.
I must say "it works" only when played fast enough!

Play it faster than the speed of sound using only alternate picking and it will become gilbertisch.
