Mesa "throttle Box" With Eq Pedal |

Anyone tried these? It's got the classic EQ found on the killer Mark series of MESA heads and I'm very curious how it compares to the current crop of MARK heads in terms of distortion tone. I know it's only a $300 stomp, not a tube head costing thousands, so I'm very curious.
Anyone tried these personally? I've seen all the youtube vids of course, but I've learned not to always trust those. Unless I make them  http://www.mesaboogie.com/Product_Info/ped...x-eq-pedal.html Every vid I've seen sounds fizzy and sorta lame IMHO. But I guess for that price..... Here is the tone that kills. The man himself on one of the new mini mesa boxes that has a Legendary MARK IIC+ (about three thousand bux each) stuffed in to it. The tone here is just freaking perfect IMHO. what do you think? |

Seemed to me its ment to work like a boss ds1 in the chain? |
