I have no pedals...
 BUT! I can tell which ones I will use the most when I get 'em... Dunlop wah, Boss RC-1 loop pedal, and my big muff

My three most important effects, with no individual foot petals in mind, would probably be: distortion, echo, and maybe a phase of some sort.

Reverb (on amp)
Delay (on Switchblade amp) Volume knob to clean up/distort (on guitar) but I doubt that counts as an effect  so Bad Monkey Overdrive-------------------- My bands homepage

For live i use Mark Tremonti wah and boss delay.
For reverb and distortion i rely on the amp. |

Just distortion and dome kind of time based effect, usually delay instead of reverb.

I have no physical effects myself, but in Guitar Rig 3 I love delay and reverb when I play solo stuff, and an occational tremolo when I just play around with chords =)
