There are many instructors and so many lessons so I think it would be a good place for the instructors to list some of the lessons which were their favorites. I haven't met all of the instructors yet but eventually I would like to learn something from each of them.

Thanks for all the hard work with engaging the students and keeping new videos up. Take care!

Thank You for Your kind words Jim! smile.gif Unfortunately some of the instructors are not with us anymore but left some awesome lessons. We could share some of those too smile.gif I think my favorite lesson is the one You started to practice - Heavy Funkin Soloing. I would really wish to see You playing the whole thing (part 1 and 2) someday. I do remember about this take smile.gif

Darius I have been working on your tune and I have found that I remember almost all of it. So nice job on making melodies that stick! That lesson has been hanging over my head for some time and after listening to it and watching the old video I see where needs improvement. I'm also working on my circle picking technique and finding it helpful when I can keep my hand and pick in position. It is hard to break away from old old pick grasp, especially when I used to think how great it was. lol

My favorite lessons ... hmmm there are many but to name a few from the guys that are no longer around, I'd say pretty much any of Muris' lessons, Ian Bushell's stuff - this dude resonates with the kind of music I like, a lot and Lian Gerbino's acoustic folk influenced lessons:

Well, this is a very cool topic. I'm all the time discovering new favourite lessons here. I always share my favourite ones at my Army when we build the guitar routines. There are some lessons which I love because of they are very musical and I love the tune, and there are some other that I like because of they are very effective to work on the topic covered.

Let me post here the firsts that come to mind now:

Good call Gabe - this is one of the reason for which I like Muris' lessons when it comes down to practicing technique and not feeling like you are doing exercises!
