hey guys
so i was watching some taping lesson where it explains how to perform a good pull off
my problem is when i try to pull of say the low e , the a,d,g and b string what happens is when i perform the downward motion it pulls other unwanted strings
i think it would be awesome to make a video like
The DO´S and the NOT DO´S of pulls and hammers , bends, holding a pick, and alternate picking
those are key problems to me and i think other people
keep on rocking guys
All you have to do is smaller motion, focus NOT to touch unwanted strings while performing pull-off.
No worries tho,it needs some time, you're on right track.
thx
It may seem as a stupid answer but that's how it is: there is not much of a pull-off - it's actually how you remove the finger after a tap -> almost no pulling-off but you'll get it with time. It's a specific motion pretty hard to explain in words.
yeah i think i understand
like when your taping very fast you almost stop pulling off right?
the very speed helps the sound right?
Yep,it's almost like non pull-off,more like releasing finger...
But don't try it fast if you're not confident slow, might get too sloppy.
