Hi DBJ!! How are you? Welcome to GMC!
Based on your musical tastes and your current knowledge I think that we could have a great time working together. Let me describe you some sections that you should check: My lesson's archive: You will find lots of punk and metal lessons clicking HERE. Improvisation Course: Do you want to expand your melodic and soloing vocabulary? You have to start following my course that will cover all the concepts needed for the rock/blues/pop/metal guitarists! Check the lesson notes HERE. Lessons are giving live every Wednesday at 20 hs (London Time) and you can replay previous ones. Gab's Army: It's my mentoring program where you can have a thread specially for you where I help you with your guitar practice, suggest exercises, lessons and give feedback. More info HERE. REC program: In this section you can upload videos of you playing GMC lessons and you will receive feedback and grading done by GMC instructors. Check it out HERE. Hi there, I am DJ, I have been playing guitar longing than I care to remember, though I have never really studied - consequently I can play anything you want, as long as it is in A Minor Pentatonic! I have joined GMC to get out of the rut and hopefully progress as a musician. I play a BC Rich Warlock, a dodgy 90s Encore strat copy that I have hard-tailed to keep it in tune, a Vintage Musicman copy bass and a battered Kay nylon strung classical guitar. I play through an awful sounding 10w practice amp at the moment but I hoping very soon to get my hands on a Boss ME-25 to give me some more inspiring sounds. I record using Reaper. I like listening to gothic rock, horror punk, skater punk and 80's glam metal, but I am interested in playing a variety of styles and pushing my boundaries. Hey mate! Welcome to GMC! We are all a big family here and we progress by helping each other, so I think you've come to the right place I used to roller skate a lot when I was in my teens, so I know a thing or two about skate punk I'd be glad to work with you on developing your skills if you wish and in order to start off, I'd like you to take a look over these questions here which would help me develop a practice schedule for you https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/guitar_fo...t=0&start=0 I think that with the gear you have and with the Reaper you also have the possibility to record which will help a lot in the process. I was wondering if you have experimented with recording so far and if the answer is yes, maybe you would like to share some recordings with us! All the best and let's rock! Cosmin |

Welcome DJ,
I've only been here a few weeks, I don't get much time to practise but I've already made improvements. Everyone is very helpful. Enjoy the journey Phil -------------------- SEE MY GMC CERTIFICATE “Success is not obtained overnight. It comes in instalments; you get a little bit today, a little bit tomorrow until the whole package is given out. The day you procrastinate, you lose that day's success.” Israelmore Ayivor |
