GMC Forum _ Adrian Figallo _ In The Style Of Requests

Posted by: Adrian Figallo Apr 26 2010, 05:34 PM

Go ahead guys, these are my fav lessons to make!

Posted by: ZakkWylde Apr 26 2010, 05:39 PM

You might wanna do a lesson in the style of Airbourne (basicly ACDC on speed) or a lesson in the style of Billy Idol (Steve Stevens is an incredible guitarist!)

Posted by: gotaG Apr 26 2010, 06:32 PM

In the style of Twin Atlantic - quite new band, but I think you'll like 'em ;-)

Like I already said in your welcome-thread, I'd love to see a lesson in the style of The Who and Deep Purple.
And there are some bands I don't want you to do a lesson on right now, since I am planning a couple of student instructor lessons that will be finished very soon...and if you did a lesson on the same bands, it would make my lesson look quite pathetic laugh.gif So stay away from Green Day, Blink 182, Anti-Flag and Bad Religion until further notice! wink.gif laugh.gif

NICE! all requests are great!!

+1 on that Steve Stevens request.

Also, not sure how many Billy Gibbons/ZZTop, in the style of lessons we have at GMC, but we could always use another. smile.gif

George Thorogood? I know all his songs are mostly just the same 12 bar blues format but I like the raw aggressive blues style of his!

Posted by: Dennizzz119 May 4 2010, 01:07 PM

Well Adrian, Sounds like youve got lots and lots to do laugh.gif

Posted by: Raiz May 7 2010, 12:24 AM

Hi, a I requested you (via youtube) to make a lesson on The Godfather Theme ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zfymycLMBXk ). It's so freaking awesome! Cheers smile.gif

What about a Buckethead Lesson?

I never listened to this guy until recently.. he is an amazing guitarist. He has some great dreamy ballads with awesome solos, like White Wash

Or.. we can all install kill switches in our axes and you can make a lesson like Jordan..lol

Cheers Adrian!

+100 tongue.gif

OR (or even better: additionaly!) you can do what has not been done before by anyone (afaik):

Do a "In Style of Mike Oldfield" - Lesson!

He was a great inspiration for me when I picked up playing guitar, so something like this wuld be nice

Cheers

He is AMAZING, but, i don't think i'm the right guy to cover it, he's technique is too much, maybe emir hot could do it, or santiago!
