... I don't know what are the rules on that as it is copyrighted material. ... Probably the same as for other copy righted material IMHO. -------------------- Get your music professionally mastered by anl AES registered Mastering Engineer. Probably the same as for other copy righted material IMHO. Just what I mentioned later in the post. Guitar graph with movable dot would be the only solution for those solos... |

I see in this thread we are going to be licensing some commercial songs. Maybe at the same time we can see about licensing songs for lessons not based on any particular recording.
Autumn Leaves is one of my all time favorites, and I love watching Pedja's video of Blue Bossa. There's no understanding, now. Was there ever? ...Joe Puerta (Ambrosia)... Finally got a YouTube page going. |

Well, it can be done easily with moving dots, I think doing some jazz standards is definitely something that we should do soon. I'll try to do Miles's "So What" if I have the time.

I dont know about copyright in other countries, but a lot of these songs is so old that maybe there is no copyright???
Anyway, the solo parts are the most interesting in these, what about copyright on solos? I dont think there really are a copyright on solos, but i dont know. More jazz is definitely a good idea at this site, and Im still searching for lessons in the style of Scofield, Metheny, Frisell, Alan Holdworth and other modern players. //Staffay -------------------- Guitars: Ibanez AM-200, Ibanez GB-10, Fender Stratocaster Classic Player, Warmouth Custom Built, Suhr Classic Strat, Gibson Les Paul Standard 2003, Ibanez steel-string Amps: Fender Hot Rod Deluxe, Marshall JMP 2103, AER 60 Effects: BOSS DD-20, Danelectro Trans. Blue Bossa would be great for lesson! It's has good melody and not-so-complicated harmony from which lot can be learned.
