heh i hope i made it in time... i know it's nothing special, since i really aint much of a funky-souly player but this is my very first recording ever haha...it took me a while to get this more-less right...hope u like it
EDIT: same track, just added echo for a lil bit fuller sound, sounds more..chill:D

Final mix should take 2-3 days after all the takes are submitted. I am hoping we will have it by 28th or something like that. I look forward to it as well

I have two takes here. One is clean, and one uses overdrive. You can choose wichever is best for the final mix .

Any ideas where I can upload my track?
Unfortunately, I couldn't get my lead track to be as nice sounding without the backing but the mixdown I made has no alterations to the backing so it should be fine for you to mix. I'll keep working on the lead track by itself.

AHA I think I figured it out.

So now I've got the lead track separated, unfortunately it doesn't seem as loud as the other one to me. If you can do something to make it fit better, by all means do it. There's both here for your convenience.

Well if you're using it for a lesson, then I sure cannot. I'll just have to come up with something. Rhythm progressions are not my forte. Writing them of course, playing is fine.

From what I've heard its tough to say man.
I am not entitled to make the decisions on behalf of GMC regarding that matter.
When the final mix is finished look for your comments they should be interesting
My advice - get some videos of you on forum and show your playing (different styles tempos preferable) before you send the actual video to Kris. Either that or do something awesome for acceptance video
