Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Hi Peter, good take !

You've got a great tone for this.. your overall chicken' picking technique is solid.

Things that could be improved are the little bends here and there throughout the piece. In some places, notes need a little micro bend (almost a semi tone but not quite) on them to make the phrases work...

You could afford to relax a bit and hang back.. in some places you shift quite quickly between chords, barely allowing them to have their moment. So try not to rush in front of the beat too much.

But overall you did a grand job - well done smile.gif

Nice take man! It's a tricky lesson and you played everything very well. I agree with Ben about playing everything more relaxed but I think that this will happen with some more days of playing this one. I think that once you could relax your body and enjoy more what you are playing you will be able to give more feeling, dynamics and groove to this one.

So keep on the hard work. wink.gif

Hey mate! I REALLY dig your tone biggrin.gif Otherwise, I think that it's a matter of paying attention to details and being more relaxed throughout the whole take, as the guys very well observed.

Keep rocking!

Cosmin
