hello fellow guitarists

after the demise of my band recently im looking at getting a kaoss pad so i can play on my own.

i like playing trippy dub reggae punk dance stuff with lots of effects and ive been interested in getting a kaos pad for a while. what i want to do is be able to loop, have a mic and guitar set up so they can both be looped but also not looped and also have some beats and synths i can put into the loops. ive been looking at getting a kaossilator 2 to do the beats and synths and the kaoss pad 3 for the looper and effects. is this viable? im prepared to put in the hours to learn to do it and ive got a lot of musical ideas i want to do with it too. its alot of money so i want to know what other people think and weather or not i'm wasting my money. i'm very keen to experiment with the kaoss pad with my guitar signal as well.

would i be able to plug my guitar a mic and a kaossilator into a kp3?

would i be able to use the kp3 and kaossilater seperateley and keep them in time or would i be better plugging kaossilater into kp3?

do i need to use di box with a kaoss pad and if so is that before or after the kaoss pad?

if i have to get a di box then will i ruin my guitar signal with a cheap one? any recommendations cheap as possible but will actually do the job?

any thoughts what so ever with using kaoss pads and kaossilators from a guitarists perspective?

i got a stack of musical ideas and im fed up with being let down by band members so im really keen to be able to make music live on my own with lots of sounds but need some tips please.

thanks very much :-)
