Hi guys,

So, this is the case:
I've bought a Tascam Us-144 this afternoon to be able to record for the MTP programme.
The programme comes with Cubase LE4, problem is: I don't have a clue how it works.
I allready looked in some earlier topics on this but I can't seem to get any sound from my guitar into the programme.
Can anybody help me? I am totally new to recording smile.gif

that seems like a fairly easy to use interface. You made sure you installed the drivers for it?

it has MIDI, that's great, you can do a lot with that

your CUBASE has to recognize the interface. Try re-installing the drivers and restarting the program

For the decent sound I recommend using some software modelers for guitar in form of VST plugin. There are tons of free ones, but the best ones are commercial ones: Guitar Rig, Amplitube Fender, Vintage Amp Room etc..

Thanks for the help.
I was looking at a recent distributed one: audio ease cabinet
I was als thinking about the Peavey Revalver MkIII
But I'll look into those as well. Thanks for the advice!!

You might wanna check out my article in the Wiki, it features a lot of simulators as well as links to them, even the free ones...
One favourite of mine is Studio Devil, they also have a free version.....
