Blues Licks, Lesson By Gabriel Leopardi |
|
Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.
The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Hi mate,
You are getting close with this one, but there are some elements that require more attention in order to polish every detail this lesson. The first thing that I note (at 00:09, 00:12) is that your bending is not reaching the correct pitch with precision. You tend to stay a bit below t he pitch when bending but also sometimes (like at 00:22) you go too high. The second important element that needs attention is timing. This is not something dramatic but it's a problem that appear in the whole lesson, here and there, you timing is not going tight with the backing, neither groovy, it's not consistent. You need to connect more with the groove. Do the exercise of closing your eyes and feel the groove of the backing before and while playing the lesson. -------------------- My lessons
