Was just reading an article about the only 3 inmates ever to escape Alcatraz. 50 yrs on and we still don't know if they ever made it or if the sea took them. What do you think ?

Ah, sorry about that then biggrin.gif
As far as I know it remained a mystery till now - (it's hard to imagine someone like Clint not succeeding though biggrin.gif)

Two great minds must think alike Ben, I was reading about this on Wikipedia just yesterday. Here's the Link:

As to whether they made it or not I tend to think at least one or possibly all made it.

It's nice to know that we were both thinking about crime related things ! laugh.gif

Yeah, it's quite strange that we all hoped they made it, isn't it ? After all, they were criminals. But I think we just like the idea of someone succeeding against the odds. smile.gif

I too hope they made it smile.gif bank robbers are not THAT bad - killers, rapers and the like deserve to rot in jail, but ingenious men should be taken into special programs and be offered jobs suited to their capabilities - I think this would be a much better way to help them, rather then locking them up to oblivion.

A bit like the film 'Catch Me If You Can' where Leonardo DiCaprio's character is offered a job with the (I think ?) FBI because he's so clever at fraud etc..

Seriously, a mind that is so deviously clever is a wasted talent.

I read that the legend was that they would return 50 year later however,
there is still an agent on that case XD so if they would return to alcatrez and get caught.
they still have to go to jail.

I think they made it smile.gif
