Hello friends!
Today I would like to invite you to be part of our new metal hit, this time inspired by the band Korn. Our founder Kristofer Dahl is already writing lyrics for this one so we will surely have a new killer song and WANT YOU TO BE PART OF IT! The idea is that you record guitar solos, guitar noises or whatever you want to help us to make this one the better song possible. You can record over the whole song. Backing track:

Number of downloads: 296Tempo: 105bpm Key and Scale choices: Let's divide the track in 3 sections: Verse (00:03 to 00:22), Pre-chorus riff (00:22 to 00:40) and Chorus (00:41 to 00:58). Verse: The chords are Dm - Eb. You can use: D minor pentatonic scale or D Phrygian mode.   Pre-Chorus: The riff sounds like "arabic" because it was created with a mode called "Phrygian Major". You can still use D minor Penatonic but avoid playing the third:  or experiment with this beautiful mode:  Chorus: The chords are A5 - G5 Bb5. Here you can use A Pentatonic Minor:  and also A Phrygian Major Mode:  IF YOU NEED HELP TO USE ALL THIS INFO LET ME KNOW! I'M HERE TO GUIDE YOU. IMPORTANT INFO About files required: In order to make the things easier for compiling takes and mixing I need that each participant shares 3 files: - Audio file with the mix of the backing and your guitar. - Audio file only with your guitar (If possible this audio should have the same length than the mix version) - Video of you playing the solo, and if it's not possible a picture. (Mp4 format if it's possible) The best way to share this is compressing in a zip file to be downloaded from here or using sharing service as dropbox, wetransfer, and copying the link here. If you decide to share your files using soundcloud please remember to "allow downloads". Thanks! Hi Laurent! Great to see you jamming over this one There are some cool lines on your solo. I'd like to suggest to try to make more defined melodies in order to make your solo catchier. When I listen to your solo I say ok, this guy can play, but I don't remember any phrase or melody after hearing it. I'd like to hear you trying to make more memorable phrases and connect them with those cool fast lines that you played here.

This is just perfect Bleez!! This is the type of stuff that we are needing to make this one more interesting!! There are some parts very Kornish while some others remind me to Chinese democracy and Buckethead. It's totally killer.

Hey guys! I'd like to share a premix with vocals so maybe you get more inspiration to add your ideas. I still have to polish the overall mix.

I'm open to receive whatever you can imagine sounding over this but here are some suggestions of what I need: Guitars: - Noises and effects for the verses. We need more Korn style guitar to make the verses cooler. You can generate this weird noises with your pick, pedals or whatever comes to mind. Listen to Korn's first album for ideas! - Some lead guitars doubling the chorus melody. You can play unison, or different octaves, and even harmonize it. The idea is to add more layers to make this sound bigger. - Guitar solos between 1:18 and 1:45. - More takes of the chords from the chorus and riffs from the pre-chorus.
