I'm not sure if the BBC iplayer works in other countries, as many US sites that offer catch up do not. Hope we haven't followed in that example...
But anyway, for anyone interested in checking out the documentary, click here - http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b008hs1m -------------------- GMC Travel Agent, at your service.

I saw it as a kind of progression ...
Floyd without Waters sounds a lot more like the earlier era - Meddle, Ummagumma etc, which shows to me that he just had more influence on the sound over time, with a kind of ideal balance, or true chemistry being found in the DSOTM/WYWH era, then still good but increasingly Waters was The Wall. I think if Floyd had not split their music would just have been all Waters - The Pros and Cons of Hitchinking with Gilmour/Wright/Mason as little more than session musicians, which would have been bad. Without Waters, I think that Floyd also lost a lot of their edge, but I see it as more of a team effort, albeit without the chemistry of the early to mid 70s era Floyd. Best case would be Gilmour and Waters working together again as somewhat equal partners! -------------------- Check out my Instructor profile

Heh, right at the end of that documentary Roger, when asked about possibly getting back together he says "I don't think it will happen, but... Well you can ask Dave when you speak to him." promptly followed with David smiling "Ain't going to happen". Ahh well, we can dream -------------------- Check out my Instructor profile
