Friends guitar fell (when someone else was playing) and this happened, I didn't see the guitar yet as it happened last night. I told him to take the string off immediately so the crack won't get worse.

The guy I go to is more in the electronics and adjustments area, but he will give us a name and probably next Saturday we'll leave the guitar to be repaired.

Its an epi. LP, too bad cause it not only looked good but best sounding out of the box I've ever played. Hopefully the repair will go well as I googled a bit and luthiers nowadays seem to do amazing repairs.

aw man, that's nasty. The guy must be gutted! Let us know how the repair goes. Ive also read about necks being fixed amazingly well by decent luthiers.

Yeah took me many messages to calm him down sad.gif he's also pretty much a beginner and doesn't know how things work yet, thought it was the end of the guitar but thanks google I send him some before-after photos and that calmed him smile.gif

We had to delay it to the weekend cause his work hours are kind of long, I probably won't be following the repair process but worst case place a photo when fixed so if happens, no one panics that much in the future smile.gif

That's a fairly common break - I'm confident a good luthier will work his magic!
