Ok this thread is pretty simple. out of the 3 groups of performers, pick one you would choose to come back to life and play one last show (they would come back as themselves during their prime, and not as talentless zombies.)
The female edition of this same question coming soon, so dont fret!
Ok well SRV is the only guitarist in that list i truley enjoy !!! I voted for Elvis because hes incredible, and likewise im not supprised to see all the votes for Freddie as hes my hero !
Randy Rhoads, Elvis and Freddie Mercury for me
Edit : spelling, well spotted botoxfox
I voted for Jimi as I think it would be very interesting to see what he'd be able to do with todays technology, Johnny Cash because, well, it's Johnny Cash and I was going to vote for Freddy but went with my heart with Sinatra just because I love 'Ol Blue Eyes.
rok
yeah Johnny cash is great !
,
i voted rhodes because hes awsome .. but then i voted Lennon because i think the world in the condition it is today needs him back for a while . lastly i voted Barry White because ..well.. its Barry White...
i voted rhodes-cobain-mercury
It's spelled Rhoads.
Rhoads,Elvis,Mercury
Damn though, I would like to hear Cliff Burton's bass solo's one more time!
Steve
edit: can't believe I mispelled rhoads as well
oh yeah..... well it was late and Rhodes is what came out. Sorry Randy.
The best (famous) guitarists are like super massive stars in the universe. Super MASSIVE stars have a blue hue to them because of their extreme heat. Whereas our relatively tiny sun is yellow/orange (less heat). These gigantic orbs of gas burn sooo much more hydrogen they're much brighter, produce exponentially more energy and are much more prominent. You can only burn massive amounts of fuel, be so bright, and expel so much energy for only so long until you die out…
These guitarists like SRV, Jimi, Dime - these guys are bigger than life, bigger and brighter than anything you can really imagine and for that reason it seems they burn out.
I don’t know if this analogy makes sense to anyone else, but it seems kinda clear to me. =)
F*ck it, live like a rock Star.
Dimebag Darrell R.I.P.
Kurt as well

Enjoy friends,
Hendrix-Marley-Morrison
Freddy!
Randy Rhoads, Frank Zappa and Frank Sinatra!!
SRV, Lennon and Ray
I was boring on the first one, Elliott Smith on the second one and Freddie Mercury on the last. Elliott Smith was so incredibly awesome..
Jimi-Zappa-Morrison
Here are mine:
1. Steve Ray Vaughan
2. Bob Marley
3. Freddy Mercury
1. Dimebag
2. Zappa
3. Jim Morrison
I have a very variable taste in music, I know. But that's just awesome
Chet Atkins
I am boring
Fredy Mercury
Rodes, Kash, Murcury.
They've all had their time. I wouldnt have any of them back, just like I wouldnt go to a band's reunion gig - pointless.
Do hope I've not offended anyone but I dont think any of these people would be huge idols unless they were dead and new artists need recognition over our worshipping of long gone glories.
My 2 cents guys
I'd bring back Dimebag, Bob Marley and Freddy Mercury.
Not on the list, but I would like to bring back Chuck Schuldiner as well and see a live show.
anybody remember Chris Olivia? He was a verry talented guitarist. Killed by a drunk driver.
