It'll be interesting to see if this gets some momentum with some big name players adopting it, since the rest of the PRS amp line has kinda fallen flat as far as I can see... -------------------- http://www.six-string-samurai.com - Gear reviews for the terminally GAS-afflicted.

It is strange about PRS amps not gaining much traction, I know David Grissom plays them and might have a signature model, but even that hasn't caught on like his signature PRS guitar.

Sadly, as you probably have noticed, AXE FX and such have taken a HUGE dent out of the amp market. NOT TO SAY IT"S DEAD IT"S NOT
But as I'm sure you've seen, every day some legendary player switches over to axe fx or kemper and starts extolling the virtues of the technology as a creative tool. And of course, they have a good point. Now that those units can sound like pretty much any amp on earth, (especially the kemper) what's the point of buying a single amp? (this is where some folks start to come unglued/heated/etc.) Not to say that amps don't have their place. They do. Some people honestly feel they can't get the tone they want from a kemper/axe etc. So amps are not going away anytime soon. But getting a new amp line off the ground is getting more and more difficult. On the upside, for each amp that does come out, someone takes the time to profile it and upload the patch to the KEMPER site So it has democratized amps to the point where anyone can have pretty much any sound. I think it will be interesting if any artists will move away from the Axe Fx and Kemper and go to an Amp head and the Torpedo Live as a solution
