Thanks Uncreator - that's a well written review smile.gif

I would suggest that others adopt this kind of presentation for reviews and we can keep standards high, and GMC rocking!

I can replicate that sound with this pedal (ive already done it smile.gif ) ,so i would say yes, you can, it took me a bit of messin around with me amp and me pedal, (about an hour or so) but i got it.

I really wanted this pedal but i have a few questions....

I heard this pedal gives a digital sound?

Does it have good distortion for some hi gain metal and punk rock?

Does it have a speaker output (really need this)?

How would you compare this with line 6 podxt?

Thanks a lot uncreator

Not quite so true, if you want it to it can, but i can get a wide variety of sounds, for example, Pavels sound in his lessons, are done with this pedal, and his sound isnt digital at all.

Does it have good distortion for some hi gain metal and punk rock?
Definetly, i belive so 100%, i play stuff from Iron Maiden and Judas Priest to Cannibal Corpse and Nile

Does it have a speaker output (really need this)?
No it does not, i dont really think it needs this, it has Mixer and Amp Outputs.

How would you compare this with line 6 podxt?
Well, the PodXT i would think is more for recording, it definetly has more features, and is a great pedal from what i understand, if you can afford the PodXT, i would say get it, But i think its like $300, and this pedal, the DF-7 Works great for gigs, recording, and just playing at home, i couldnt really compare the two accuratle, i dont have any experiecen with the PodXT

It certainly is great for recording, but the Pod XT Live is also a great live multi-FX unit.
