Hello, I am pretty new to GMC, and I have only been playing a year. I have not seen some of the stuff in the tablature that follows the videos. Example: L What he heck does 3 L 3 mean on any string? 12pbr? 12br? Is there a place that I have overlooked that can get me through these issues? Is this how the software Guitar Pro denotes slides, bends, etc.? I am used to the way Ultimateguitar.com does their tabs. Thanks
That is indeed how GuitarPro exports the tabs
L is a tie note, keep on fretting that fret! (it is used for tieing together two notes in guitarpro to make a longer note)
br is bend then a release to orginal note, so you are playing the note you are fretting not bending anywhere (as in stop bending and get the string straight!!)
pbr is a prebend with a release at the end, bend the string up first without it sounding (will need to mute it) then pick it and then return the string to a straight position...will kind of sound like a downward slide.
and just for kicks...this may help you out too....

..and we can all get to know you a little more
Thanks Deeproots for putting that legend up.
Judging by the questions he was asking it looks like he is practicing my lesson "George lynch" one. I certainly agree that Guitarpro is rather confusing how it exports the TAB. If you download the complete tab though there is a legend at the bottom.
Daniel
