I've been working with this lesson trying to get down Pinch Harmonics, but for some of them I can't hear a real difference in the notes, especially the harmonics on the E string. I've got a Line 6 - Spyder 2 Amp thats getting the general zakk sound, but the harmonics aren't screeming out like yours. It's probly my technique, but Im playing a Jackson Kelly with passive pick-ups, would I get a better Pinch Harmonic if I switched to Active Pick-ups?

btw - Awesome lessons, I've never seen anyone master so many difference styles, especially Yngwie's. Those lessons were insane!

basically, i've found that active pickups like EMG'S make the pinch harmonics amazingly easy. But if you just practice them, you'll get them great without the help. Plus it'll make you a better player and save you bucks wink.gif

I can also talk into my pickups and hear it through my amp..
