Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Hi mate!

Good job with this lesson. This is a very tight take! Everything sounds clean and with the right timing. I'd like to mark just 3 details to have in mind during the next days of practice:

- Your vibrato has more room to improvement. Sometimes it's not totally regular, while other times could go better with the backing's groove. Check out the original lesson and get inspired by vibrato.

- When playing sweep picking, try to make the "sweep" up and down look as a unique movement. Don't make a very small jump on each new string that you play like if they were stair steps. This is not an issue at this speed but it will be at faster ones so it's good to get used to it.

- Try to make your right hand up and down movement smaller when playing alternate picking.

Ok friend, that's all by now. Keep rocking!

This is very good!

Your vibrato is mostly consistent... try to work on that bend near the beginning, to make the vibrato sound a bit more natural. You could make it a little bit faster and try to hand on to it until the end of the note.

Your picking is sounding great.. and your timing is solid as well.

For the sweeping, listen to Gabriel's advice. The movement wants to be an uninterrupted sweep of the pick. At the moment, you can see the separation of the pick strokes. But it is almost there! The second load of arpeggios are better.

Keep up the good work!

Very good job my friend! That's what we call "a tight take" smile.gif Very good timming and even tone of each note. Efficient left hand adn right hand sync. I see nothing to complain aside from a vibrato which could have just a little more" balls" but the way it is now it sounds proper.
