I was recently taking another shot at your Neoclassical Advanced lesson and was wondering, the part where you bend the string (in the very beginning of all 3 videos), what are you hitting? Is there any special way to hit them to get that exact sound?

You know he might be pushing down on the whammy bar, he did that in his recent intermediate lesson for the three level solo. The lick was very bluesy but he had a unqiue sound on a specific bend, So It might be the whammy bar.

I thought that too, but it doesn't look like he's touching the whammy bar.

It looks to me like he's just sliding up to the E on the twelfth fret of the low E string and using a lot of vibrato... but I don't have my guitar to try it out, so I'm not sure.

Haha, no problem. Your lessons seem to be the biggest challenges for me, and challenges always make me better when I overcome them.

Thanks Zephyr for explaining it!

Its like, bend it to the next note, and the tricky part is, while you bending there is a heavy vibrato.. just practice it, i practiced too, to get the exact vibrating
