I cant find an accurate harmonic scale or at least one I can read....can anyone send me a link to one or a picture of one and tell me how to read it? I am learning this because alot of metalcore is played with this so yeah. Thanks
I think you're likely looking for the http://www.guitarmasterclass.net/guitar_forum/index.php?showtopic=8244 scale.
If you're talking about the Harmonic Minor is just a regular minor scale with the seventh degree raised.
Example in A: A-B-C-D-E-F-G#-A
Do you know natural minor scale?
A natural minor (or A Aeolian mode) = A, B, C, D, E, F, G
A harmonic minor will be when you play G# note instead of normal G (one fret up from G)
A, B, C, D, E, F, G#
is this more understandable ?
edit: here is TAB for A harmonic minor. Can that help?
-------------------------------------------------4--5--------
------------------------------------------5--6---------------
--------------------------------4--5--7----------------------
--------------------------6--7-------------------------------
----------------5--7--8--------------------------------------
------5--7--8------------------------------------------------
Which lesson were you looking for ? Perhaps I could help you with that. Post a link in this thread here
Better than Emir it can`t be explained, so I add a very useful lesson on this!
