This thread is probably geared more toward members who live in the States but what do y'all think about Schecter guitars? I'm thinking about buying this one:

I would love to hear opinions/experiences etc.

Thanks a lot.

I bought a Schecter C-1+ this year and I love it, but I have nothing but an old Strat knockoff to compare it to. Very well made and sounds great. Mine has the Duncan PU's so the one you are looking at is different but fine I am sure. I like the looks of it as well. Very nice! Figuring out which one to buy is difficult.

Had a guitar hanging, just about waist high, and we are going to play these things until the day we die.

My guitar teacher uses a C1 Classic in the antique amber color when he teaches. Sweet guitar and it sounds great.

I've got a Schecter C-1 Hellraiser and it is primarily what I play. If you are into metal, it is sick. That guitar you have looks sweet for $450. Best thing about Schecter is you can get very good guitars are a very good price. I got mine for $800, and it has two EMGs, Floyd Rose, 24 frets, looks sweet, sounds great, not to mention all the other awesome things about it, check it out.

Noo, that was a beauty!
Esp. the gray one. Loved that.

I'll just confirm that Schecter's are very well built. High quality for the money.

KGZ,

Earlier this year I was positive I was going to buy a Schecter.

I was advised by a lot of people here to try different brands and I found out instantly that I liked Ibanez better. I prefer the thinner neck quite a lot.

Everyone here is correct in saying that Schecters are very well made and good for price, but I would advise you to pick a guitar that feels right for you to play.

Oh btw... hi everyone! I'm still alive but I've had some really hairy IRL stuff going on and guitar has been non-existant... I hope this post is the beginning to my come back... right after midterms are done next Tuesday smile.gif
