Hey guys,

Here is my progress on the first half of the Ian Bushell Sweep Lesson. I'm sure you guys all know the one I'm talking about. For the most part it is there, but the screws need to be a bit tighter, but this is the progress and here is where I am at. Also, my guitar is tuned a whole step down from his video.

Looking for tips, sorry my picking hand isn't in the video, I need to get a tripod. If you can tell anything from the fretting hand or your ear, jlmk.

Cheers guys!

Hey guys,

I finally made the commitment to sign up for GMC. I remember seeing it as a years past and being skeptical of it but today I made the plunge and holy crap I'm glad I did. I joined this site with the goal of being able to bring new ideas and techniques to the table for my band, One Time Mountain's new album.

My inspirations are probably similar to most peoples;
Petrucci, Loureiro, Gilbert, Li, Johnny Ohlin I would say are my main influences off the top of my head.

I am hoping to use this website to master the sweeping technique, and multi finger tapping, as well increasing my knowledge of applying different modes to my soloing library.

I play in the Rock/Metal band One Time Mountain, we have toured the East Coast of the US, and will be heading to Europe this Summer. We've opened up for all kinds of cool bands, you can check us out here for an idea of where my own playing is at, and if you enjoy it please feel free to check out more of it. Maybe I can do instructional videos here at some point, but right now my main concern is further developing my own skills.
