Hey, my first try at the REC program, thanks for watching, Janneke

Hi,

Thanks everybody for your great advice some time ago. It worked out nice.
I tried out a lot of Fenders, fender types and other models and bought me a very nice Fender Roadhouse. Its Mexican, plays great, sounds very nice and fitts in my budget. So no more worrys there. Played it for some weeks now and I can't get the smile of my face.

Thanks, Janneke

Hoi,

After some good advise on this forum about my Ibanez Gio, I start looking for a stratocaster to buy. So now a friend of a friend is selling his Gibson WRC for about € 800,--. I tried to find out more about this one on the internet. It's build in 1987, was in production for 18 month, on gibson.com there was no info at all.
Can anybody tell me more about this guitar, sound, how does it play, or specs. Any info is more then welkom. To try it out is a 5 hour drive, is it worth the trouble?

Top or Flop??

Thanks, Janneke

Hoi
Hello,

My name is Janneke and I'm from Holland. I joined CMG last october and started playing guitar. Yes, I'm an absolute beginner. Cmg is a great place to be and I have learned a lot al ready!! And I have got the VIRUS!!!

I also bought an Ibanez startersset about 4 month ago and it plays nice. But the frets are already getting worn out a bit, scratches and little holes. I went back to the store but there was nothing wrong with it, my Gio just isn't made of the most durable materials. It is possible to flatten them out or to replace them, but it will cost me money. Is it worth the trouble or is it better to save it up for a new guitar? For a new guitar I have a budget of €500,-- and no idea what to buy. Has anybody any suggestions what to do?

I like playing blues, funk and a bit of jazz ....... in the near future wink.gif

Hoi,
Leuk mijn eerste landgenoot die ik hier tegenkom. Leuke site he! We kunnen hier vast veel leren lijkt mij. Ik hoop dat ik er de tijd een beetje voor kan vinden, ik heb een jaar de tijd en wil zoveel mogelijk leren in diverse stijlen.
groetjes, Erick
