then don't get it, just one tube isn't all-tube, try a marshall valvestate, i think it should sound similar.
but for that price, i think getting a marshall will be better -------------------- Check my Instructor Profile Rockers! Got a Blog too!, www.adriantracks.com Follow me on facebook and youtube! -Youtube |

a 4x8 cabinet doesn't appeal to me.
And I will never buy anything from Musicstore again. had a wah that broken within the warranty time. I sent it back, payed 15E for shipping. They returned it free of charge. BUT.. the problem was mended but now another thing was broken. Edg*r Te*d*r*, let's call him ET, asked me to return it at my expense. I refused. ET was reluctant to understand that since they sent me a broken product they shoul play for the shipping and replace or mend it. All at their expense. All I did was to recieve a faulty product. It too me ages and I had to thread putting ET's name as responsible person at Musicstore in my complaint to some European consumer service before he caved in and sent UPS to my door at their expense. ET is responsible also for Portugal so I'd think twice before having to rely on him ever again. Go Thomann instead, they also have their own brand, Harley Benton. Otherwise Fame includes a couple hand wired amps that might be cool. -------------------- My bands homepage

The Musicstore in Cologne is one of the worst stores I have ever been to!!! Cramped, crowded, guitars stacked like in a discount store and bad customer service... and it seems their online store is like that aswell! Fame is the stores own homebrand (like Thoman with their brand Harley Benton). The Fame stuff is really cheap and in most cases not worth the money... comparable to Behringer products. I would stay away from everything that comes from this store! After they treated me so badly I'm happy for all support spreading the truth -------------------- My bands homepage

I played through ValveKing 100 head & cab on one gig, and I liked it a lot. It has a well defined mid focused, tight, classic american type of a tone. great for classic rock and a bit beyond as well with some pedals. It's lower price may not be that bad sign. If you take care of it, I'm sure it will be OK. Knobs are plastic, but not that bad, and the sound, as I said, is very decent. You won't get boutique tone from it that's for sure, but the tube sound is there, and it is loud for ANY venue. For the money it's very worth it IMO.
I also suggest here that you check it out first and play through it. You will get a good idea of what it sounds and if you like the sound. There is always a possibility that you won't like it, just preference thing you know.. -------------------- - Ivan's Video Chat Lesson Notes HERE

You should get an amp which you can try out. That is the ONLY way to see if you like the sound of the amp with your OWN guitar/gear. Try some from the local stores. I wouldn't get this one if you can't try it.
