Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Original lesson: Pop Punk by Gabriel Leopardi

Pop Punk Rec - hi Guys. This starts a little bit bad for some reason I struggle to hear the where to come in. Other than that the last section I've played it to what I thought it to be. But a bit confused by the tab. By the way love this lesson Gab.

Hey zoom! biggrin.gif

the take is clean and the tone is good! However, you should pay more attention to the timing - this style of music is not too intricate, so keeping a good timing is essential as things can sound strange even at the slightest little offbeat wink.gif so practice it slowly until you nail the groove. Tap your foot to the ground to get the internal metronome going! Keep it up mate!

hey man, it sounds nice! As Cosmin said, timing is the thing that you must work for this one. Pay attention to that and you'll get a flawless take.
The last part is ok! it just have the timing issues but the notes and overall idea is right.

This is in general very good take, but your timing needs to get a lot better compared to everything else. Try to really nail those strums on the beat, relax the hand a bit.

All the elements are fine except for timing ! I would suggest a little more practice with strictly attention on it smile.gif !
