Crikey! I've come a long way in a year but there's still so much to improve. sad.gif
I think timing is my biggest weakness. Also still working on trying to play cleaner.
But have a listen and I welcome all feedback.

Let me know if link doesn't work, I'll upload it here.

Ps. It's my song.

Edit: Revised version uploaded to that link. It's much closer to what I'm trying to achieve.

One thing I noticed was that you were favoring consecutive notes in the scale. In other words you weren't really moving around that much, but rather simply moving to and from notes that were adjacent in the scale. I have this problem when improvising, that's why I noticed it immediately.

Maybe you intended for this. But with me, it's something I'm trying to move away from because it's all I do when improvising.

Though it does sound nice wink.gif

EDIT: I'm trying to go back and listen to it again, too make sure I heard what I heard, but it won't let me... i get some error when I click the intermediate link (the one that opens up the new window after clicking the link you posted)

EDIT again: Got it working... apparently I only listened to the first half of it the first time... just listened to the whole thing, sounds great!

Imho, overall structure is good but I would prefer to hear more beat variation. The biggest thing I noticed was that your bends were not quite reaching pitch. Also, vibrato could be a bit stronger and wider in places. Other than that, I think you have a nice tune here man, keep working on it! smile.gif

Thanks guys.

I've put it aside for a few days.....need to come back to it with fresh ears. Any more feedback greatly appreciated to give me things to look for and work on.

I like the vibes of this song. However talking about composition I have the sensation of "nothing happened here". I mean.. you introduced some nice ideas in the begining but then you continue wih the same backing improvising (running scales) and I feel that something should happen in the second part of the song. A cool riff, a new memorable melody, a rhythmic change... do you understand what I mean?
I hope that this helps you! smile.gif

I liked the tune!

On the part where the drums stopped I think the chords in the rhythm guitarcould be played better.
