What model of Ibanez guitar do yo have? If it is a low price range model check out the tuners. Do you have a tremolo? What type?

Try different vendors, and discover what you want now. Other advices: 1) Go to the guitar shop and try different guitars. Don't buy a guitar without testing it! Even if the seller shows, play it yourself. Test the guitar first without any amplifier, and then plug it into an amplifier close to what you have. Any guitar will sound way better on top amplifiers, but you will be misleaded by that. 2) Don't buy at the first time you go to the shop. Negotiate price or something. 3) Within time you will become more exigent. So, it is a good idea to get as much money as you can before buying a new guitar. Otherwise, you will be disappointed after some time and will regret you could have bought something a little better. It is also a nice idea to buy an "upgradable" guitar. One example, is a mid range guitar with good wood, but bad pickups. Later you can put good pickups and you will have a much better guitar. 4) Get as much information as possible before buying the guitar. Hope this helps!

go out and try some gear. id invest in some locking tuners. does the ibanez have a tremelo? i had a cheapo ibanez that i replaced the tuners and bridge. thing plays amazing now.

Nope no tremolo or anything. It's pretty much low end Ibanez. At least it beats my old copy strat though i used to think that was ok when i first got it but now it's awful lol.
